LibrariesAustralia allows Library members to search and request items from libraries throughout Australia, if not held in their own library.
Terms & Conditions:
Your local library will charge a non-refundable administration fee of $5.50 for each title requested on ILL. This cost will be added to your library card and is additional to any fee charged by the supplying library. All fees are payable when the ILL item is collected.
Additional charges may also be charged by the supplying library (minimum of $16.50 ). These charges will be added to your library card and are payable when the item is collected. Requestors should be careful to mark the correct boxes on the online request form to indicate whether they are willing to pay any additional costs charged by the supplying library.

Items must be returned to your local library on or before the due date.
- If the item is lost or damaged the borrower agrees to pay the lending library's replacement fee. e.g. May be up to $300 for items from the National Library.
