The existing Southern Tablelands Library Cooperative, which involves
Upper Lachlan, Goulburn Mulwaree and Yass Valley Council Libraries, will
cease on 30 June 2017.
Following a review by Goulburn Mulwaree Council of the effectiveness of
the Cooperative and subsequent revised service provision costs, Yass
Valley Council made the decision to exit the Library Cooperative.
Upper Lachlan Shire Council and Goulburn Mulwaree Council have agreed to
the ongoing provision of library services under a Service Level
Arrangement, which will see Goulburn Mulwaree and Upper Lachlan Library
patrons received the same great service.
